Draws

This series of drawings by Bruna Battistini explores the shifting relationship between the individual body and the world it inhabits. Through lines that oscillate between fragility and insistence, the works trace how the body negotiates its place within society, culture, and territory — and how these forces, in turn, shape its gestures, rituals, and ways of existing.

Created on digital drawing surfaces, these works embrace the fluidity and immediacy of contemporary tools. Their circulation through social media platforms becomes an extension of the artistic gesture itself: a space of exposure, encounter, and dialogue with others. In this expanded field, the drawings operate not only as images but as invitations — openings for exchange, resonance, and collective reflection.

The series unfolds as a cartography of experience, mapping encounters between the self and the environment, between nature and the residues generated by the body as it moves through its daily rites of passage. Organic forms, discarded materials, and symbolic fragments intertwine, revealing the delicate yet persistent ties that bind humans to the landscapes they transform.
